1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using C-SIDE ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

C-SIDE is a live music booking platform that connects artists and venues across the Midlands grassroots music scene. The Platform allows artists to find venues, venues to discover artists, and facilitates communication and booking arrangements between parties.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

  • You must create an account to use certain features of the Platform
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • You may not share your account or transfer it to another person

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Scrape, spider, or crawl the Platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
  • Use the Platform to spam or send unsolicited messages

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post (profiles, messages, photos)
  • You grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform
  • You represent that you have the rights to all content you post
  • You are responsible for your content and any consequences of posting it

Our Content

  • The Platform, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by C-SIDE
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Platform
  • C-SIDE trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

7. Bookings and Transactions

  • C-SIDE is a platform that facilitates connections; we are not a party to any booking agreements
  • Artists and venues are responsible for their own booking arrangements and contracts
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any gigs or events
  • Payment arrangements are between artists and venues; we do not process payments
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding bookings and performances

8. Fees and Payments

Currently, C-SIDE is free to use. We reserve the right to introduce fees for certain features in the future, with advance notice to users.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Provide false information
  • Cause harm to other users or the Platform

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF USERS OR THE CONTENT THEY POST.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, C-SIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless C-SIDE, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and C-SIDE regarding your use of the Platform.
